The Saltwood Village Society would like to thank the owners of all the open gardens, helpers, stewards, hot kitchen helpers and our sponsors for their generous support and extraordinary hard work in making the first 'Saltwood Gardens Safari' such a huge success. We welcomed several hundred visitors to Saltwood on the hottest and sunniest day of the year. Including a Bishop from India and his wife! Maybe he had always promised his wife that one day he would take her on a spectacular safari........ The day raised £3,300 for the Saltwood War Memorial Project.
